Stanley #7 Hand Plane Smooth Sole Mixed Matched Parts Nice(Frankenstein)

Up for sale is a really nice #7 hand plane. This plane has mixed mixed matched parts(Frankenstein). I believe all the parts are Stanley except the bed. I think Stanley made the bed for some other company. There is an Aluminum tote and V logo on the iron. Very small mosquitoes bite on the lever cap. The smooth sole is in great shape and this plane will make a great user.

With over 76 years of life experience and a passion for woodworking, I’ve spent decades collecting, restoring, and working with antique hand tools, mostly hand planes . I'm an Army Vet. (1967-1969) and married with 2 children. I'm also a avid gardener. I have a degree in Forestry from S.I.U. although I only worked in the industry for 6 weeks. I'm retired from the coal mines and also the Post Office. I live in Southern Illinois near Carbondale. I love to hunt and fish. I live on 30 with a 9 acre strip mine lake in front of the house. My work shop includes a Delta Unisaw , a Grizzley 17" band saw and a DeWalt 735 planer. I have many hand planes including a very nice Stanley #2 type 7
