Up for sale is a really nice Stanley #5 type 13 hand plane. It has the smooth sole and it is in great shape. The sweetheart Y logo on the iron is sharp and clear. Has the 1 Pat. date behind the frog and no raised ring for the Knob. About 98% of the Japanning remains. The only issue is that both the Tote and Knob have had inlay repair done to them. It looks to me to have a walnut inlay on the horn on top of the tote and also a walnut inlay on a piece of the base on the knob. Both are super nice and look professionally done. Look at the pictures for best description. Thanks for looking. Dean
