Up for sale is a really nice Stanley #4 plane type 15. This is the last year of the keyhole lever cap. this plane has the corrugated Sole and it is in perfect shape, no pitting scratches or dings or chips. The tote has a nicely repaired crack and it and the knob have their original patina. this plane is ready to go to work.

With over 76 years of life experience and a passion for woodworking, I’ve spent decades collecting, restoring, and working with antique hand tools, mostly hand planes . I'm an Army Vet. (1967-1969) and married with 2 children. I'm also a avid gardener. I have a degree in Forestry from S.I.U. although I only worked in the industry for 6 weeks. I'm retired from the coal mines and also the Post Office. I live in Southern Illinois near Carbondale. I love to hunt and fish. I live on 30 with a 9 acre strip mine lake in front of the house. My work shop includes a Delta Unisaw , a Grizzley 17" band saw and a DeWalt 735 planer. I have many hand planes including a very nice Stanley #2 type 7
