The 1954 printing of the Smyth Report outlines the development of atomic energy for military use between 1940 and 1945. The full title of the document is "A General Account of the Development of Using Atomic Energy for Military Purposes Under the Auspices of the United States Government". Written by H.D. Smyth who was the Chairman of the Department of Physics at Princeton University. It was written at the request of Major General L.R. Groves of the United States Army. It was originally written in August 1945. Essential reading for history and science enthusiasts.

There is some wear to the cover including staining. There is one page that looks to have been torn and then taped back together (page 127/128). No other rips or tears to pages noted. See pictures for further details on condition.
