Signed Clay Storyteller Figurine Southwestern Folk Art 5" Handmade Pottery Children Figure

This 5-inch clay figure features a traditional storyteller surrounded by individually hand-formed children figures, each uniquely shaped and painted. The piece has a natural matte clay surface with hand-painted details and a large geometric symbolic design on the back, giving it strong visual presence from all angles.

The underside is signed “G Bit” (see photos), indicating an individual studio artist rather than mass production.

Air passes through the figure from base to mouth, a construction method often seen in handcrafted pottery forms. The surface shows the texture and character expected of handmade clay work.
