Shiny Brite USA Lanissa W Germany Mixed Lot 23 Mercury Glass Christmas Ornaments Indent Vintage 50s

This is a lovely mix of 23 midcentury mercury glass ornaments ready to adorn your tree. The majority are marked Shiny Brite or have Lanissa's plastic West Germany cap, a German company in association with Shiny Brite by way of their shared owner, Max Eckardt. 4 are unmarked, 3 are marked West Germany (but maker company unknown), and 1 is marked Austria.

Good Preowned - visible wear and/or minor flaws present. Many show wear to their outer finish. All are structurally sound, but 1 ornament does have a crack at the top (the hand painted Austria ornament pictured). A couple have chips under the cap & one seems to have a replaced cap that is too small for it, but it is securely in place (red indent w/ unmarked cap).

Shiny Brite: 1 gold topped with white mica 1 large red with black mica design 3 striped (one's color has worn away and appears clear--this one has a chip under cap) 3 stenciled - moon & stars (blue), Christmas stockings (green), soldier on horse (pink) 1 silvery blue

Lanissa West Germany: 1 red & gold band with silver glitter 3 gold single indents with silver glitter 1 red single indent with silver glitter 1 blue single indent with silver glitter

West Germany, Unknown Brand(s): 1 gold single indent with hand painted details & silver glitter 1 red bell with black mica design 1 cream with gold stars of David (chip under cap)

Austria: 1 silvery with fine hand painting (does appear worn away aside from green leafy design - this is the ornament with crack at the top - cap fits loose, but does hold)

Unmarked: 1 gold indent with painted bell & bow with silver glitter 1 red indent with black mica design (with replaced cap that's too small but secure) 1 small gold with silver glitter in scale design 1 red with white stripe (chip under cap)
