8.5" Thomas Bavaria finely detailed hand-painted porcelain luncheon plates in a lilac (perhaps violets?) pattern.
In perfect condition - no chips, crazing, or damage of any kind. The paint is detailed and vibrant with no signs of wear or use. These plates are stunning.
The Thomas Bavaria mark was used by the porcelain manufacturer Porzellanfabrik Thomas & Ens in Marktredwitz, Bavaria, starting from 1903 when the company was founded.
Plates with just the "Thomas Bavaria" backstamp were typically made between 1903 and 1908, before the company began including the "Sevres" designation in their branding.
Shipping price includes additional packing materials and extra insurance.
