Set of 4 Culver Mushroom Highball Glasses 22K Gold Tumbler Signed MCM Barware – USA (NY)

$275.00

Details

Brilliant graphic design and oh so trendy! This listing is for a set of 4 Culver "Mushrooms" glasses (I have 8 total of these as of this listing if you want more.) These are highball / tumbler glasses, great for your favorite beverages at the holidays or anytime. The design is raised gold & white, the gold is real 22K gold. Culver was famous for developing a super-heated, roll-on process of fusing 22K gold to glass which remains a secret today. The mushroom pattern is one of their heaviest gold applications. The cursive signature indicates that these were made before 1980. These were produced in Brooklyn NY, USA and sold in high end department stores of the era. They were expensive when new.

Size: 5 5/8″ h x 2.75″ w at the rim

Condition*: Excellent, the gold & colors are brilliant and I am not seeing any defects. The signature is not worn at all & that is the first thing to wear off with use so these were never to lightly used.

A Thing of Beauty Vintage Finds

    Selling since November 2023

Hi, I'm Cynthia. I am a shop owner on multiple platforms with 20+ years of experience. I do everything within my power, including packing with great care and shipping fully insured, to get your "thing of beauty" to you safely. I have recently moved to the mountains of eastern Tennessee where I find my treasures and offer them to you, the beholder. I hope you will find your "thing of beauty" here.

I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. I love the journey that leads me to these beautiful things and I hope you will enjoy my "finds" as much as I have enjoyed finding them.

Please feel free to reach out to me via text or email with any questions you may have. I am frequently hiking on the weekends so your best chance of a speedy response will be during weekday business hours.

Follow me on FB and Instagram where I share additional information on the creation/history of my items.

Helping you find your thing of beauty, Cynthia
