Details
This vintage Bavarian porcelain plate is a beautiful example of mid-century European craftsmanship. Likely made in the 1950s, it features a bright floral design at the center, surrounded by small accent sprays. The reticulated edge and gently scalloped rim add texture and elegance, while the gold trim provides a classic finish.
Though the maker’s mark simply reads “Bavaria,” the overall style and detailing are similar to pieces produced by Schumann during this time.
Perfect for display in a china cabinet, as part of a plate wall, or styled in a vintage-inspired kitchen. It also makes a thoughtful gift for collectors, floral lovers, or anyone who appreciates European porcelain with timeless charm.
Very good vintage condition. There is one hairline crack in the rim - it does not go through to the back - see photo. No other wear or damage observed.
Dimensions: Diameter: 9.75", Weight: 1 lb
IMPORTANT NOTE: At Darling Della Vintage, we believe every scratch and bit of patina tells a story. Our pieces are 30+ years old and have lived full lives, so gentle wear, tiny chips, or age-worn charm are part of their soul — not flaws. We photograph and describe each item carefully, but please expect natural signs of age. Embracing vintage means embracing history — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
