RARE VTG MAJOLICA SIGNED CANTAGALLI ITALIAN POTTERY CANDLESTICKS ROOSTER MARK

These majolica candlesticks were made by Cantagalli in Italy. Based on research, Ulissee Cantagalli took over the family's factory in 1878. He was known for producing Italian ceramics in the Renassaince style. He signed all of his pottery with the iconic Cockerel. He died in 1901 and his wife and daughter ran the company until 1934. These candlesticks feature a swirled design with a flared opening and base. They are 9.5" tall and 4" in diameter at their widest and are in great condition. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs. There are a few chips from age. (See photos).
