Extremly rare collector's piece. From 1970, pottery owl sculpture by Strawberry Hills Werkshop Pottery Canada. The owl with the best pose in the collection, hollow, matte finish, marked. Measurements: 5" tall, 12" across, 10" head to tail. Condition: few small chips on the legs rim, not visible. See last zoomed in picture. Package will be sent insured. Strawberry Hill located outside Thunder Bay Canada, was the home and studio of a family of artists. They created a series of unique Canadian animals in pottery in the mid '70's that became very collectable. The family closed down the business in the '70's by choice and broke the molds, making these pieces extremly rare finds. This piece is not available to purchase anywhere else online.
