Free shipping on this item. One of a kind addition to your cat collection. This is a hard to find signed cat by Turkish master ceramicist Sitki Olcar (1948 - 2010.) He is best known for his bowls featuring boats & sea scenes but he also did figurines such as these using traditional designs from his native Turkey. I could only find a very few cats and all of them were blue & white, this is the only one I could find in these colors and with the bird design.
Size: 5.25" l x 5" h x 2.5" w
Condition: Excellent condition. The piece has a fine crackle glaze which is typical for his work. There is a tiny glaze skip on the head (see photos) I think this is part of how it was made but wanted to mention it.

I shop the fine estate sales and auctions in the horse country of north Georgia, nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and bring them to you, the beholder.
I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. I love the journey that leads me to these beautiful things and I hope you will enjoy my "finds" as much as I have enjoyed finding them.
