Very Good Preowned - subtle signs of wear or use

This almost looks like it wasn't used, just stored, Christmas after Christmas. It may have been stored with something wooden, because it has some splinters on the surface (last photo before measurements). And there's the tiniest hint of a stain, that may be able to be removed (photo before that).
