The candlesticks appear to be examples of mid-century art pottery, likely dating from the 1950s to 1970s. The style is characterized by the use of glossy, reactive glazes, and somewhat organic shapes. The handles are a design element that adds to their charm.

Similar pieces were produced by various studio potters and smaller ceramics workshops during this period. The green glaze is a popular color from that era. Without a maker's mark, it's difficult to attribute them to a specific artist, but they still hold value as decorative vintage items. Unknown maker, excellent condition no chips or cracks. Set of 2.
