Otagiri Mercantile Company Iconic Roadrunner Mug from Japan

The Charlie B Gallery of Carson City, Nevada is offering this OMC mug with the iconic roadrunner motif design. This is from a rural Nevada estate and dates to 1970's-1980's. This likely had a label from this important San Francisco importer of Japanese made products.

Unsigned. There are a couple small white drips of glaze at the rim with a couple factory micro blips to the rim also. I do not detect any chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. This mug has a nice ring when tapped. The interior shows cleanly with no staining. I really believe this was used moderately. All fragile merchandise is shipped using the "double box" process.

3.875" tall by 4.25" wide Holds approximately 12 ounces. This is a perfect tea mug.
