Noritake Red M Footed Mayo Condiment Dish with Under Plate and Spoon Lusterware 1920s Rare
These colors seem fresh and contemporary considering the age of this set. I was unable to find this pattern online or in Noritake books. A more knowledgeable seller suggests it is likely a factory sample of an unknown and possibly un-produced pattern. (Unfortunately, there was enough destruction of factory and records during WWII that we’ll never know all the stories to say for sure.) An awesome addition to a Noritake collection.
Measurements:
Spoon: 5 1/8" L x 1 7/8" W x 2 1/2" T Plate: 6 3/4" Diam x 1" Tall Bowl: 6" W x 4 7/8" D x 3" T
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. No noticed chips, cracks, scuffs, blemishes or damage. The underside of the spoon has a rough spot that seems like a spur mark (from when it was placed in the kiln and fired). Normal wear for age. Please see all photos.
