Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened). Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Embossed gate-fold cover looks great; a couple of creases near edges; light-scuffing (front/back); small surface abrasion on back where shrink has loosened. Inner-sleeve is original (photos/credits). Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along bottom-edge and corners; more noticeable wear along center of top-edge. Opening shows signs of use and divots; discoloration along front opening edge of shrink. (Hole-punch in top-right.)
The Jazz Singer, by Neil Diamond, served as soundtrack album to the 1980 film of the same name. While the film received mixed reviews and was moderately successful, its soundtrack was a huge success and became Neil Diamond's biggest selling album in the USA, selling over 5 million copies and reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Albums Chart. Three of the songs from the album became Top 10 singles: Love on the Rocks (No. 2), Hello Again (No. 6) and America (No. 8).
