Burnt yellow kitchen canister / tea container by Napco of Belmont OH, likely from the 1960s. Napco both made and imported ceramics so this could be made in the USA or Japan. It's not marked Japan which makes me think it's by a USA company.
Features stylized rooster & sunflowers. The outline of the design is raised on the lines and depressed in the center. I think it's really attractive. This is part of a set, the knob is not wood, it is grained to look that way but the lid is all one piece. Marked on the bottom. Would be great for a farmhouse or French country kitchen.
Condition: Excellent, I am not finding any chips or cracks. The raised lines are rough to the touch but it is uniform all over the piece so that is how it was made.
Size: 6" h including lid

Hi, I'm Cynthia. I am a shop owner with 10+ years of experience. I do everything within my power, including packing with great care and shipping fully insured, to get your "thing of beauty" to you safely. I shop the fine estate sales and auctions in the horse country of north Georgia, nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and bring them to you, the beholder.
I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. I love the journey that leads me to these beautiful things and I hope you will enjoy my "finds" as much as I have enjoyed finding them.
Please feel free to reach out to me via text or email with any questions you may have. I am frequently hiking on the weekends so your best chance of a speedy response will be during weekday business hours.
Follow me on FB and Instagram where I share additional information on the creation/history of my items.
Helping you find your thing of beauty, Cynthia
