My goodness, how amazingly detailed and carefully hand carved these miniature figurines are!

This mother, baby & 2 small children are handmade from wood by the Tarahumara (Rarámuri) Native Americans of Chihuahua, Mexico.

*The largest of these figurines came to me with a broken foot - I have taken the liberty to wood glue the foot back on. There is a small glimmer of the glue, shown in the final few pictures. This sweet folk art family should last many more decades.
