A whimsical and highly stylized 1950s/60s ceramic dachshund figurine. This piece features a characteristic "longneck" design with an airbrushed brown and tan matte finish. It is handpainted with large, expressive blue eyes and black facial details. The base is hollow and shows remnants of the original foil export label, consistent with Japanese midcentury production. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks; a perfect statement piece for a kitsch canine collection.
