Maw & Paw Pottery Mugs ~ Git your Coffee~Coffee Cups ~ Japan ~

These post-war Japan pottery mugs are quite large (16oz ea) and have a beautiful patina of finely-crazed glaze. Most of these had a hillbilly theme as evidenced by the spelling 'Maw' and 'Paw' and the letters appearing as wood sticks. These have a beatnik spin to them which makes them quite unusual. Please see all pictures is there the best description these mugs are in good vintage condition they do show their wear the Palma definitely is has somewhere to the 24 Karat highlights on it doesn't seem the ma mug ever had the 24K highlights.

4.75" diameter (5.75 with the handle) and 3.75 tall.
