This handsome trivet does show the patina of use along it's gilded edge. Some loss of gold exists at it's corners, but its center body shows very little sign of wear. A blemish also exists to the same gold along one edge but it is smooth to the touch and not a chip. Please review all pics for details. This board is made tough for everyday use, yet unique enough for special occasions if you plan to put it to use. Hand wash only if you want the pattern to last.
