This is an AMAZING brooch that was handmade by Lucinda Yates in Maine. The brooch is part of her "House Pins by Lucinda" collection. It is made of acrylic and has a polyurethane coating over it. It features a blue and white house with a star above and a gray cat sitting next to the house. There is glitter under the polyurethane to look like stars in the sky. This pin is 2 inches tall and about 1.75 inches wide (it is not perfectly rectangular). It has a pin back with a sliding C closure.
