Belleek Pottery is a renowned Irish company established in 1857 in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is celebrated for its distinctive Parian china, known for its translucent quality and delicate, often nature-inspired designs.
This particular vase features embossed shamrocks, a potent symbol of Ireland, often associated with St. Patrick and good luck. The use of Parian ware allows for intricate detailing in the relief work, giving the shamrocks a tactile and visually appealing quality. The green mark on the base indicated 6th generation, which is 1965-1980.
