This vintage Fenton Hobnail Milk Glass Nut Bowl is a charming piece of mid-century modern decor. Made in the mid-1960s in Williamstown, West Virginia, this double-handled bowl features a tightly-crimped edge and a smooth interior. The pressed glass production technique gives it a unique hobnail pattern. This original Fenton piece is 5.2" wide, 7" long, and 2.6" tall, perfect for serving nuts or other small items. Fenton made this pattern from 1948-2012. This piece predates Fenton's use of an embossed logo (started in early 1970s). It may be from the 1950s due to the "fire" in the lower portion of the bowl, whereby the iridized salts used during pre-1960s milk glass reflect an orange/red glow (see pictures 1, 4 and 5).
The nut bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
2.6” High, 5.2” Wide, 7” Long
