Large Japanese Geisha Standing Doll on Base Hand Painted Face Hand Sewn Kimono. This is an Awa Odori Dancer Doll . Her Kimono features traditional patterns and style worn by the dancers. It is Very detailed and intricate. Pure Silk. She is 13" Tall . Her base is 5 inches side to side and 3.5 inches front to back.This is preowned. Part of my personal collection. No rips or tears no odors . There is minimal age spotting on face this is from the glue used to secure the material to the underlayer of the head, its more noticible allong hair line. Hair style intact very slight flyaways. Dress is intact , Shoes are intact, Straw Hat is intact. The lacquared base is intact and doll is securely attached. There is some minor wear especially on bottom edge. This doll is at least 40 yrs old. VG condition.. Ships USPS
