John Davis Studios Hand Built & Molded Studio Art Pottery Vase 2007 8" tall EUC

This is a John Davis Studios, Signed Davis '07 Hand built, and hand molded, and hand painted Studio Art Pottery Vase. Similar ones sell on his website for $456! This one has flowers roses, artichoke, grapes and two other flowers I can't identify. The leaves are textured as well.

The process of making this goes like this:

This inlaid vase is made from slabs of clay pressed into molds made from actual flowers and leaves, then sculpted into an oil based clay. The vase is hand-formed and dried slowly, then painted with colorful underglazes before firing for the 1st time. To give an aged look, the vase is washed with a rich, dark stain and delicate details are air- and hand-brushed before firing again.

This vase's approximate measurements are 8" x 8" x 3.5". It weighs 1 lb., 4.7 oz. prior to packaging. This packaging will require to be insured.
