This brooch is 1 1/4" L and 2 1/2" H.  It is of a little girl holding a cat.  The cat is gold toned metal.  It is in very nice condition with a lock clasp and only minor wear.  The signature "JJ" is on the back.  Please see photos and feel free to contact me with any questions.  Thank you.
