Quite similar to a Stanley #104 level at ~450mm = ~18" long, 30mm thick, and 55mm tall, this is a very lightly used level that I've confirmed accurate using the usual means (end for end horizontal/opposite side for vertical). One of the pictures shows this tool against an inherited Stanley 104 (and don't plan to part with); this is the main reason why I'm thinking to part with the Japanese level.
I'm not sure what type of wood (walnut?), but it's tight grained and dark even in the unfinished state it's in. This is a beautiful tool that could see literal decades of real use; it sure appears not to have seen any of so far!
If you're interested in shipping to Canada, let's talk and make sure how to go about that (but I'm certainly open to it!)

Boy do I look old with that beard! It's gone now, but I still like the image, so there we are. I'm a woodworker who does a LOT of different things, though my last really big project was an entire kitchen/laundry of cabinets and butcherblock countertops. I have the chance through the day job to go to Japan once or twice a year, and I enjoy being able to bring some of the used tool love from there to here, so folks who watch may notice postings for some of them.
