Each work is unique, wheel-thrown and hand-built with her distinct artistic touch.

This particular piece stands 6.5 inches tall (with the top) and has a 3.5-inch diameter base. It features a sculptural coral reddish rounded upper form decorated with raised drop-like accents, topped with a small whimsical figure. The earthy-toned base is decorated with painted motifs and is signed “Helitzer” on the underside.

A small linear crack is present but is not very noticeable unless closely examined. Otherwise, it remains in lovely condition with no major chips or damage.

✨ Please note: The photos appear slightly darker than the piece does in person. Actual color can vary depending on lighting and individual screen settings.

Helitzer’s pottery is beloved by collectors of Judaica and studio art ceramics alike, with each work blending function, tradition, and imaginative artistry.

About this specific pottery:

🍎 The Pomegranate Symbol

In Jewish tradition, the pomegranate is a powerful symbol: • It represents abundance, blessing, and knowledge (often tied to the 613 commandments in the Torah, as the pomegranate is said to have 613 seeds). • It’s also a motif used in Judaica art for holidays like Rosh Hashanah, where it symbolizes sweetness and a fruitful year ahead.

Pairing this with the pomegranate makes a lot of symbolic sense: • It could represent knowledge, learning, and success (education tied to the fruit of wisdom). • It may have been created as a gift piece for a graduation or academic milestone — both whimsical and meaningful.
