I could not find out a lot about the artist except for Heinrich Marmostein operated the Marmorstein's Art Decorating Studio in Chicago from 1909 - 1931 and experimented with a variety of lustre glazes and decorations. In 1931 he applied for & received a patent for his unique gold veining technique to produce his signature style.
