This is a beautiful piece. The white rings you see are from my ring lights. I have included many photos of front and back and some close ups, so you can see the beautiful work in this piece. It is approximately 4 x 4. About 3/4's of an inch thick....a bit higher in some places since it is curved as an actual starfish would be. It has a twisted jute hanger. The name Beetle's Rucksack is a shout out to the old cartoon Beetle Bailey. A favorite of mine and unfortunately gives you a great idea of my age. I believe in leaving the item in the condition I have found them since 'The stories are in the schmutz' and patina. I hope I have an item that brings back fond memories for you or a loved one. Please remember that glass should be left in the box to acclimate to your climate before the box is opened. Extreme temp changes can cause items to break.
