Hand Carved Wooden Bird, Ochre, Aboriginal?- Tiwi Islands?

In my search for the proper identification of this bird, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is most likely an aboriginal made carving from the Tiwi islands. It is the right style and coloring and materials to fit in that category. If I’m correct the price should be much higher than what I have it listed at. So this could be a real bargain! There is no signature makers mark. See photographs for condition and measurements. It is a really lovely piece.
