Fantastic, very hard to find, Hall Novelty teapot in the shape of a Football. Pretty red / orange color, originally called, "Chinese Red". This teapot was part of a novelty line of teapots made only from 1938 - 1940. Hall's Pottery mark on bottom introduced in 1932 and used through the late 1960's, however, this teapot was only made until 1940.
Teapot measures approximately 8-3/4" across from the outer edge of the handle to the tip of the spout, and 6-1/4" tall to the tip of the lid. Holds 4 cups.
Teapot is in very good condition. There is one chip on the inside edge of the lid that is not visible with lid in place. Please see pictures for more detail. No other chips, cracks, breaks, or crazing noted.
This is a very nice, rare Hall Teapot, perfect gift for any Hall collector or tea drinker!
