This little paperweight is in the form of a speckled bird. He has an applied beak and a pinched tail. He is unmarked. There were several Swedish glass artists who made similar birds in the 70’s, most similar were the Boda Birds line, but this piece has a rough pontil, not the more polished pontil of Boda. So this little bird is a mystery. He has an amber core with a pink iridescence and white speckles. He measures approximately 4” long, 3” wide, 3” high, and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
