This lovely bonsai tree is actually made of jade, carnelian and quartz, with silk wrapped wire branches! No trimming or watering required, it will last decades. Made in Taiwan probably in 1980s, before Mainland China overwhelmed global markets with their similar products, this rare bonsai features a solid jade carved pot as well, not the more recent cheaper ceramic pots.
