FUSED GLASS UNDER THE SEA NITE-LITE

I created this night light by first making the fish and shells. I mixed glass powder and water and layer it in silicone molds, freeze it solid and then pop them out onto a kiln shelf and fire overnight. Well the pieces fire, I cut out the background glass and make the background. I do this using different pieces of glass and glass powder. I then add the fish, shells and details and fire again overnight. What's cool, I clean it up and attach the night light hardware. Fabulous way to add a little pop of color in a corner or bedroom, bathrooms..
