These are a matched pair (2) Elegant Glass candlesticks #2496 by Fostoria Glass which was introduced in 1936. They feature "flame" stems which are actually stylized fleur de lis. They were only produced in colors for a few years and are hard to find, especially in this condition. I believe these are Azure Blue (they were produced in that color) but I cannot say for certain. A dramatic addition to your table.

Elegant glass is often mis-identified as Depression Glass but it is finer quality and involved some type of hand finishing and fire polishing in the creation of it. It was expensive when new. The Fostoria Glass company closed in 1986 after almost a century of operation. A dramatic addition to your table.
