Thid Fontanini 5" scale vintage shepherd with lamb figurine, part of their nativity scene collection, was produced between the 1950s and 1960s. During these years, Fontanini used materials like paper mache and hand-painted resin, creating figures that have since become highly collectible. These vintage pieces are generally marked with “Italy” on the bottom, a hallmark of Fontanini's earlier production periods. The 5" nativity line, which includes the shepherd with lamb, remains particularly popular due to the figurines’ intricate details and nostalgic appeal.
