This is an adorable Fenton handpainted bear, produced as part of the "Stars and Stripes" series in 2001. Fenton produced several pieces as a memorial of the 9/11 tragedy, and this was one of them. This little guy is beautifully decorated in a patriotic theme and signed by the artist and was made only in the year 2001. It has the original Fenton sticker as well as original UPC sticker indicating Fenton's ware number of 5151 F6.
It measures approximately 3.5 inches tall and weighs approximately 1 pound.
This bear is in excellent vintage condition and has been well cared for. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, or any damage to hand-painting. I decided to retire in December 2022 which left me with a considerable amount of time on my hands. I have always loved estate sales, garage sales, and thrift stores but when I finally had the time to truly enjoy thrifting, my casual shopping turned into an obsession and before I knew it, I realized I had collected enough vintage to have a large sized booth in an antique mall. Unfortunately I live in a state that really doesn't share the same obsession as I do so a spot in one of the two antique malls in my town is sadly in the distant future.
So... enter Niknax which is actually my first foray into selling all of the vintage I've been collecting throughout my life.
