The item is a vintage Fenton Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail pitcher. It is made of cased glass (French crystal over gold ruby) and is hand-blown. The pitcher features a distinctive hobnail pattern and a clear applied reeded handle. Fenton produced these pitchers from 1941 to 1970. The opalescent property gives the glass a delicate white and pink/cranberry coloring.
