Details

This vintage Fenton glass is a beautiful addition to any collection. Made in the United States in the 1960s, this art glass piece features a stunning spiral optic pattern in bright aqua blue. The underside has subtle texture to add tactile and visual interest. Measuring 8 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height, it is a substantial piece of glass, weighing 3 pounds, 6 ounces. The mid-century modern style of this ashtray makes it a unique and stylish addition. You can use it as a decorative piece, a trinket dish, a candy dish, or as originally intended.

The piece is in very good condition - there are not chips or cracks. There is one slight flaw that appears to be where the glassblower made a shallow 'slice' on the surface (.75 inch long). Please see the last picture. (It is difficult to see at all unless the light hits it a certain way. You can feel it if you run your fingers over the surface.)
