Details
A small (5"x3.25"), heavy, clear glass vase, likely made of crystal or lead crystal, which accounts for its substantial weight. The vase is decorated with a fine, hand-etched design of a single flower. The base is etched with the signature "Ekenäs Sweden" and additional production marks. Ekenäs Glasbruk was a prominent Swedish glassworks founded in 1917. They specialized in both utilitarian glassware and designer art glass. Pieces like this, featuring etched designs, are often signed by the cutter or designer and are a popular example of collectible Scandinavian Modern design.

Hello, my name is Judy and I love all things MCM. I'm excited to share my vintage and unique finds from glass paperweights, art glass vases and pottery to fun figurines in ceramic, porcelain, and glass. When I'm not searching for the next great piece, I love spending time with my wonderful hubby, Chip and our dog, Oliver, or getting creative with my scrapbooking projects.
