It works great for marking out joinery, marquetry/inlay, leatherwork, papercraft, scale modeling, and all sorts of crafts and making. The brass hardware and handle are made by me from scratch in my basement shop. The hexagonally faceted contoured handle (modeled after my favorite vintage xacto knife) feels great in the hand, lends detail control, and won't roll off your bench. The brass blade wrench snaps onto a rare earth magnet embedded in the handle with a satisfying click! Holds Swann-Morton 01-04 or xacto 2/B blades.
