Red light will also flash in the corner. There are three different learning modes, Quiz, Teach and calling - easily switch by moving the ladybug. This item also has a volume control (High or low) Light play wear, pooh does have some dark on the plastic - All buttons work. Battery compartment has a rusted spring, but it does not effect play. Comes with battery cover. Takes 3 AA - Not included. Comes from a smoke free, pet friendly home
