Carved Wooden Thailand/Bali statue 10" x 3.75". Signed WIR 1-1-84. The statue is hand carved and is shaped like the god Garuda. Garuda is described as the King of the birds. The Garuda figure is superbly detailed and intricately carved with beautiful facial details a beak and wings. Looks to be ironwood.

The figure has a lid that comes off to reveal an inside compartment. I think the compartment is to put an incense cone or stick inside as there is a hole to the back to allow the scent/smoke to come through. In Good Vintage condition with two tiny chips. One tiny one on tip (or it's just not smooth at tip) and one at base. Please see photos as they are part of the description. Item will be well wrapped before shipping. Items from my listings can be combined for shipping if safe to do so.
