AMAZING PAPERWEIGHT!! Once in a lifetime to own a VERY limited edition Caithness paperweight that is numbered #18 out of only 100 made!! There a NO OTHER AVAILABLE at the time I made this listing!! Doubt there will be for a long time with ONLY 100 made! Vintage 2004. One of a series of designs - inspired by ancient medicinal plants - created by Allan Scott for the Whitefriars Collection at Caithness. Hellebore foetidus is said to have been used by Hercules to cure a bout of madness. The clear glass is set with 2 pale-green buds and 2 flowers in full bloom against pale- and dark-green leaves. 5 notch-cuts of differing lengths decorate the lower half of the spherical weight, which has polished front and rear facets and stands on a flat base. The base is scratch-numbered 18-100. Original box and certificate included. 3 1/8" dia. In GREAT COND!
