Blenko art glass amethyst wine rinse. This piece was part of the Williamsburg Collection in the middle part of the 50s and the early part of the 60 s. The Williamsburg collection was developed by Blenko from fragments found in the ruins of the colonial city and was authorized by the Williamsburg Association, to reproduce certain pieces. This piece was originally used as a wine glass rinse. When Changing courses at dinner, the wine was changed as well. The rim of the wine glass was dipped into the vessel to clean it before the new wine was poured. This piece measures approximately 5 inches in height and 5 inches in diameter. and in very good condition, without chips or cracks. This piece can be seen in the 1957 Blenko Catalog on page 26 item CW-7
