Adorable English countryside scene by artist Glenda Rae (who passed away in 2020) features an English cottage with flowers, farming activities and a girl feeding ducks or geese. Typical of her style the illustration extends beyond the border of the picture. This is a very good quality print, initially I thought it was an original watercolor and only by looking through a loupe could I tell it was a print. It is signed along the border and custom framed a good quality medium wood frame with a gold tone floral border which compliments the colors in the print. On the reverse side it has it’s original gallery sticker from Warwick, England. I could visualize decorating a nursery around this picture.

Who: Glenda Rae was an artist and illustrator, well known for this type of subject matter. Typically her work is colorful & whimsical.

Size: 15.25″ w x 10.75" h framed

Condition*: Excellent, there may be a few nicks here and there but they do not detract in any way from it. See photos. Shipping: I have switched all my listings to USPS ground advantage insured to save you $$, if you need priority/express please message me.

A Thing of Beauty Vintage Finds

    Selling since November 2023

Hi, I'm Cynthia. I am a shop owner with 10+ years of experience. I do everything within my power, including packing with great care and shipping fully insured, to get your "thing of beauty" to you safely. I shop the fine estate sales and auctions in the horse country of north Georgia, nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and bring them to you, the beholder.

I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. I love the journey that leads me to these beautiful things and I hope you will enjoy my "finds" as much as I have enjoyed finding them.

Please feel free to reach out to me via text or email with any questions you may have. I am frequently hiking on the weekends so your best chance of a speedy response will be during weekday business hours.

Follow me on FB and Instagram where I share additional information on the creation/history of my items.

Helping you find your thing of beauty, Cynthia
