Beautiful late Edwardian- Art Deco filigree sterling silver and amethyst glass (not amethyst stone but purple glass to mimic amethyst) bracelet dating to around the late 1920s-early 1930s.

The clasp is a flat piece that hooks on to close along with a safety chain on a spring ring below. There is a very faint maker's mark beside the word "Sterling" on the clasp but it has not been identified. The bracelet may have been purchased at Birks which was a high end Canadian department store. Lovely antique accessory to any outfit, especially if you love the late Edwardian- Art Deco aesthetic! Good vintage-antique condition, minor wear consistent with age and use. Silver has a little patina but is still quite shiny so possibly rhodium plated?
